People ask,
"Why don't you write more"?
"Get it all down on the page, tip it all out".
I try to explain, give them an idea of what they're asking
for,
I say “Imagine a house with the door locked, all you can do is
look through the letterbox, what can you see”?
“Not much” they may well reply “Only the hallway with all
its different doorways leading God knows where. What's that got to do with it"?"
“That’s the house in my head” I tell them “The one where I
keep all the ideas I've got and I can't find the key..”
